Umaru Musa Yar’adua University UMYU Katsina, invites all candidates who selected the University as their first choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME or Direct Entry DE to register for the Post-UTME aptitude test/screening.
The online registration exercise commenced on Thursday, 16 July 2026 and will close on Friday, 31 July 2026. Interested candidates should complete their registration through the University’s website at www.umyu.edu.ng.
UTME candidates must meet the approved cut-off marks for their chosen programmes and possess the correct subject combinations. Direct Entry candidates will undergo online screening only and are not required to appear physically for the aptitude test.
Applicants are required to upload their JAMB slip, O’Level result(s), a valid means of identification and for Direct Entry candidates, A’Level qualifications. Candidates awaiting O’Level results are also eligible to apply.
The screening fee is ₦2,000 (all charges inclusive), payable through the University’s online payment platform.
UTME candidates are advised to print their registration and payment slips and present them alongside hard copies of their credentials at the screening venue on the date indicated on their registration slip. Direct Entry candidates should submit hard copies of their credentials to the Office of the Registrar immediately after completing their online registration.
